Introduction
Hello, my name is Ivor Game, a
singer/songwriter from London. I have been playing since I was 10 and through my
teens , appeared in a variety of bands.
But it was in my twenties that
I came into my own and started to develop as a singer and songwriter, taking my
music to the audience in its' simplest form... voice and guitar. Influenced by
The Beatles and anything else that has stood the test of time, not just music.
In recent years I have been a regular on the London acoustic scene and have also
toured Los Angeles, Nashville, parts of Europe and Ireland. Ireland is a
fantastic place to play. The radio and press get behind you and you really feel
you're somewhere special. Other than that it always rains and the roads seem to
go on forever! But it all adds up to a great event and there's something quite
romantic about playing your best songs to a small audience in the middle of
nowhere.
Hit The Big Time
In 1996 I decided to
start releasing my own records. The first album was called Hit The Big Time,
a collection of songs recorded in my bedroom and re-mastered for the CD. The
smallness of this record has been the appeal, and it has gained airplay and
reviews across the world, from America and Japan, to Lithuania and Macedonia.
